Saskatoon Berry Salsa
Ingredients:
2 oranges
2 lemons
2 cups Saskatoon Berry Fruit Puree
1 cup Port wine
1 tsp mirroir topping dry mix
Directions:
- Grate the rinds of the 2 oranges and the 2 lemons
- Mix 1 cup of Port wine with the grated orange and lemon rind
- Reduce for 10 minutes
- Squeeze the oranges and lemons - set the juice aside
- Strain the 2 cups Saskatoon Berry Puree and mix with reduced Port wine - fruit rind mix
- Reduce the mixture for 10 more minutes
- Mix juice from the squeezed orange and lemon with 1 tsp mirroir topping dry mix
- Add to the Port wine - fruit rind mix
- Continue to simmer for 5 more minutes
- Cool before serving
