Strawberry Jam with Liquid Pectin
Ingredients:
4 cups crushed strawberries (about 2 quart boxes)
7 cups sugar
½ bottle liquid pectin
Method: Measure berries into a large kettle. Add sugar and mix well. Bring quickly to a full boil, stirring constantly, and boil hard for I minute. Remove from heat and stir in the pectin. Ladle into clean, hot, sterilized containers. Cap with 2-piece canning lids and process 5 minutes in a boiling water bath. Makes 8 half-pints.
