Oven-Roasted Fries
These chunky potato wedges with a touch of olive oil are perfect with steak or burgers.
Prep: 15 minutes
Bake: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons olive oil, divided
4 large baking potatoes (2-1/2 pounds), scrubbed
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions: Heat oven to 450 degree F. Line cookie sheet with foil; brush with 1 teaspoon of the oil. Cut potatoes lengthwise into 1/2-inch-thick wedges. Transfer to large bowl. Add remaining 1 teaspoon oil, salt, and pepper; toss. Spread potatoes in single layer on prepared cookie sheet. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden and crisp. Serve immediately. Makes 4 servings.
