Greens, Eggs and Ham is a Family Farm featuring: Odd, unusual and heritage vegetables. Free range Ducks, top quality processed Duck
products and Duck eggs. Free range Cornish Game Hens, Turkeys and top quality processed Turkey products by
Ariana's Farm Fresh Fowl. Free range Chicken eggs by Megan's Egg Shack.
We grow:
Vegetables: Lettuces, kale, mizuna, mustard greens, witloof (Belgian endives), arugula, garland chrysanthemum, cornsalad, komatsuma, pak choi, lei choi, tsoi sim
Spinach and Orach (ancient spinach with burgundy color), Swiss chard (white and colored)
Beets: burgundy, yellow, candy stripe, white
Carrots: pastels and red
Potatoes: Waxy-yellow, red skin yellow flesh, banana and pink fir (banana shape, pink skin), Russian Blue.
Non waxy, non starchy: Hot pink and White Almond (both are filled with a white creamy fluff, hot pink has some marbling late in season)
Parsnips, salsify, celeriac, eggplants
Sweet corn and baby corn
Snow peas, edible pod peas, heritage peas in shades of green, yellow and burgundy
Beans: green, yellow, burgundy (many sizes, shapes and shades), fava beans, scarlet runners

Greens, Eggs and Ham is a 10 acre mixed family farm in Leduc County. Andreas has worked in many areas of the agriculture industry and Mary Ellen has worked within the medical field. Eight years ago they purchased their farm and began to produce fertilized Duck eggs for the Filipino market and vegetables for high end restaurants.
Their teenage girls, Ariana and Megan, are home schooled and as part of their schooling, they have their own businesses. Megan has laying chickens and her eggs are sold primarily to restaurants. Ariana has a yearly contract to supply turkeys to a caterer.
Greens, Eggs and Ham direct markets their products to high end restaurants in Alberta, attends the
City Center Market on 104 St. in Edmonton and their products can be found in several retail outlets.
