Community Connection Dinner at The Blooming Fields

This winter we will be hosting an evening dinner every Friday and Saturday, beginning Friday, October 31! Come and be prepared to be surprised by an innovative menu and a different setting! The Blooming Field’s philosophy is simple: our menu consists of healthy, well balanced meals, all made from scratch with the focus on cooking and baking using as many Alberta products as possible. Meat comes from local farmers and produce is grown in our own garden and greenhouse. The portions are well balanced with great emphasis on texture and flavor, leaving you very satisfied without feeling bloated and numbed after dinner.

The setting is different from any restaurant in this area. We would like to offer our customers a warm and welcoming atmosphere to dine in while giving them the opportunity to interact with each other and to meet new people. Our tables will be set for 4 – 8 people. If you are coming with a group of four or more, you can choose to have your table for your own party OR you can share your table with other diners. If you are a party of less than four people we would like to encourage you to join a community table where you can enjoy your dinner and meet new people!

Remember: eating out is not just about food alone but rather the whole spectrum: great food, a wonderful atmosphere and excellent service. We at The Blooming Fields will do everything possible to make your venture into this new way of dining out a memorable one…….one that will make you want to come back for more!

To attend one of these evenings, or to book our facility for your private Christmas party please phone1-403-335-8264 or email us info@thebloomingfields.com

Farm Gate Sales
U-pick, no appointment necessary

When you visit a 'pick your own' garden, here are some suggestions to make the day enjoyable:

  • Dress:
Wear loose, comfortable clothing such as a long sleeved shirt and pants.
  • Cooler:
Bring a picnic cooler with ice packs to keep those berries and vegetables just right until you get home
  • Bugs and Sun:
Remember those UV rays - wear a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Bring some mosquito repellent, just in case.
  • Call Ahead:
It is a good idea to call ahead to be sure the farm has a good supply of what you want today - don't go home disappointed!
  • Follow Instructions:
Please respect the grower's property and follow any written or verbal instructions you are given.
  • Storage of Berries:
Berries store better unwashed. Do not wash until immediately before use. Store in refrigerator in shallow containers, loosely covered. Use within two or three days.
